The New Deal was a significant economic policy reform in American history, aimed at addressing the economic crisis brought about by the Great Depression. The core content of the New Deal encompassed three aspects: relief, recovery, and reform. Through state intervention in the economy, it alleviated social tensions and promoted economic recovery. This paper analyzes the background, policy impact, effectiveness, and controversies of the New Deal, and explores its implications for contemporary China's economic issues.
