Research on Risk Propagation in Fresh E-commerce Supply Chain Based on Complex Networks

Abstract: In recent years, the rapid growth of the fresh e-commerce industry has introduced several potential risk factors to the supply chain that necessitate preventative measures. This paper aims to study the risk propagation within the fresh e-commerce supply chain and propose strategies for risk control. Firstly, a dual local world fitness network model is constructed by combining the fitness model with the local world model. This model is then validated, showing consistency with the actual network. Building upon this, an improved SEIRS risk propagation model is developed, and the basic reproduction number is calculated to simulate the risk propagation within the fresh e-commerce supply chain. The results indicate that the degree of risk propagation is positively correlated with the initial infection rate, risk outbreak rate, and loss of immunization rate, while negatively correlated with the risk recovery rate and risk elimination rate. Abstract: To achieve peak carbon neutrality is a broad and profound economic and social systemic change. At present, the economic and social development of our country has entered the stage of accelerating green and low-carbon high-quality development.  In this paper, under no less than three scenarios, the regional dual carbon target is associated with the time node of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, and is associated with the improvement of energy efficiency and the increase of the proportion of non-fossil energy consumption. In various scenarios, if the GDP in 2035 doubles over the base period and quadruples in 2060, the method of calculating carbon emissions is found. If the carbon absorption amount of ecological carbon sink in 2060 is 10% of the carbon emissions of the base period, the calculation method of carbon emissions at this time is found; To find the targets and paths that can determine the GDP, population, energy consumption, energy efficiency and non-fossil energy consumption in 2025, 2030, 2035, 2050 and 2060, and finally complete the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the four major projects. Success Attribution and Support for Income Equality: Evidence from the United States and Germany

Abstract: Income inequality within countries is a pressing global issue, and understanding its determinants is crucial for informing policies aimed at fostering economic fairness. In this paper, we use individual data from World Values Survey (WVS) wave 7 data (2017-2022) to study how the attribution of success to different (luck or effort) factors affects the views on income distribution (specifically, whether to support income equality or inequality). Our main hypothesis is that attributing success to effort rather than luck leads to a larger and statistically significant increase in the acceptance of inequality in the indulgent country – the United States. We indeed find that attributing success to effort is significantly and positively correlated with supporting income inequality in the United States, while this correlation is significantly weaker in Germany. But from the regression results, the country does not significantly change the relationship between success attribution and supporting income equality. Therefore, we reject our main hypothesis and conclude luck rather than effort as the source of success can’t lead to a more substantial and statistically significant increase in support in income equality in indulgent countries. An Analysis of the Influence of ESG Rating Divergence on Investor Sentiment

Abstract: The global financial markets have experienced a significant development with the emergence of the notions of "sustainable development" and "green investing". This development involves the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) information into investment decisions. A significant advancement in the worldwide financial market is the integration of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data into investing choices. ESG ratings have emerged as a significant benchmark for investors in this scenario. However, there is now a considerable disparity in the rating outcomes provided by various rating agencies for particular companies. This disparity distorts the ratings and thus triggers exaggerated reactions from investors. This study investigates the influence of differences in ESG ratings on investor sentiment and its underlying mechanism using a sample of businesses listed on the A-share market in Shanghai and Shenzhen between 2015 and 2022. Research has shown that when there is a significant difference in ESG ratings, it has a detrimental effect on investor sentiment. This means that when there is a large divergence in ESG ratings, it negatively affects investor sentiment, leading to a decrease in their evaluation and confidence in the company. Empirical investigations demonstrate that the focus and consideration given by analysts and research reports play a crucial role in how differences in ESG ratings impact investor sentiment. Additional investigation reveals that the adoption of GRI standards and the verification of ESG reports by third-party entities can somewhat reduce the influence of divergence on the fluctuation of investor mood, as well as enhance investor acknowledgment of revealed information. The paper examines the influence of disagreement in ESG ratings on investor mood, contributes to existing research on ESG ratings dispute, and presents empirical evidence to support the development of China's ESG ratings system and the … Read More
