When Data Do Not Persuade: Planning–Expression Integration in Bilingual Digital Marketing Tasks

Abstract: Digital marketing is saturated with metrics yet the availability of data does not guarantee persuasion or execution. This paper reports an artefact-based qualitative study of over twenty bilingual slide decks produced across two one-month task cycles in a vocational undergraduate marketing context. Task 1 asked students to analyse Guangzhou Vocational University of Science and Technology as a product competing in the education market using PEST, Porter’s Five Forces (and in some cases an industry life cycle lens) and SWOT. Task 2 required an STP analysis of Victoria’s Secret in the China market with optional competitor comparison and recommendations. The decks were coded through a planning–expression integration lens. Planning competence was operationalised as decision framing, prioritisation and trade-offs, strategic coherence and action design. Expression competence was operationalised as argument structure, evidence transparency and warranting, functional bilingualism and multimodal clarity. Students frequently included metric-like statements such as TGI values, platform attention indicators and macro figures. However, data often did not persuade because claims were weakly sourced, weakly defined or weakly linked to conclusions through explicit warrants. These evidence–argument gaps then disrupted integration at later checkpoints, including unclear decision statements, framework stacking without prioritisation, stakeholder and scope drift, segmentation without targeting criteria, competitor lists without a stable competitive frame and recommendations that remained non-operational. Cultivating the Advantages of the City of London as an International Financial Centre Under Cluster Effects and Implications for the Greater Bay Area

Abstract: As a globally leading international financial centre, the City of London has developed formidable industrial cluster effects through its profound historical heritage, highly concentrated financial enterprises and professional service institutions, open and inclusive talent recruitment policies, and sustained financial technology innovation. This paper systematically analyses the City of London's success across four dimensions: talent structure, enterprise clustering, business interoperability, and policy support. Drawing on the current state of financial cooperation within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, it proposes pathways to advance coordinated financial development and enhance international competitiveness in the region. New Trends in Corporate Social Responsibility Practice under the Background of Globalization

Abstract: In the context of the deep integration of economic globalization and sustainable development, the practice of corporate social responsibility (CSR) has broken through the traditional public welfare category and become the core competitiveness of enterprise globalization. This article analyzes the five new trends of CSR under globalization based on international rule changes and corporate practices: the ESG system has shifted from voluntary initiatives to hard constraints, supply chain responsibility has extended to the entire chain, digital technology empowers responsibility management, local demand and global standards are coordinated and adapted, and cross-border entities jointly build a sustainable ecosystem. Research combines Lenovo Group's ESG system construction, BYD's supply chain carbon management, and State Grid's blockchain traceability to verify the positive correlation between CSR practices and long-term performance of enterprises. The results indicate that contemporary CSR has shifted from "passive compliance" to "active value creation", with standardization, intelligence, and collaboration becoming core features. This article provides a feasible responsibility path for global enterprises, helping them balance economic interests and social value to achieve high-quality development, while also providing practical references for the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the enterprise level. Opportunities and Challenges for The Development of Green Finance under the Background of Financial Technology

Abstract: Under the guidance of the "dual carbon" strategy, green finance has become the core support for China's economic transformation, and the rise of financial technology provides a key path for it to break through development bottlenecks. This article is based on policy evolution and market practice, systematically analyzing the internal mechanism of fintech empowering green finance, and focusing on exploring the application opportunities of technologies such as big data and blockchain in alleviating information asymmetry and innovating financial products; At the same time, we must face practical challenges such as the lack of data standards, prominent technical risks, and lagging regulation. Research has found that financial technology can significantly reduce the cost of identifying green credit. The practice of some green finance reform and innovation pilot zones shows that the cost reduction can reach 30% -40%, but it is necessary to build a sustainable development system through policy coordination, infrastructure construction, and talent cultivation. Application Analysis of Multi Energy Complementary System in Regional Energy Optimization and Scheduling: Taking the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area as An Example

Abstract: The Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, as the core economic area and energy intensive region of China, faces prominent problems such as high dependence on fossil fuels, high pressure on the consumption of renewable energy, and regional energy supply-demand imbalance. Data shows that the consumption of coal and oil products in Hong Kong accounts for 91%, while the combined consumption of coal and oil in Guangdong Province accounts for 58.5%. The consumption structure dominated by fossil fuels has not fundamentally changed. The multi energy complementary system integrates multiple energy sources such as wind power, photovoltaics, natural gas, and energy storage to achieve coordinated optimization of production and consumption, which is the key path to solving the energy dilemma. This article takes the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area as the research object, and combines green finance policies such as green credit with ESG constraints to explore the application logic and practical path of multi energy complementary systems in regional energy optimization and scheduling. By analyzing the characteristics of regional energy supply and demand and complementary needs, a scheduling mechanism that integrates green finance incentives and ESG evaluation is constructed. A multi-objective model is designed and simulated for verification, and the application effects and inspirations are summarized. Research on the Interactive Relationship between Housing Price Fluctuations and Macro Policy Regulation

Abstract: This article systematically explores the interactive relationship between housing price fluctuations and macroeconomic policy regulation in the context of China's real estate market. The current market is in a stage of deep adjustment, showing characteristics such as overall decline but local marginal improvement, significant structural differentiation, and sustained weakening of expectations. In the face of this situation, China has formed a multidimensional policy regulation system that covers demand side management, supply side optimization, and financial and tax coordination. Research has shown that policy regulation affects housing prices through short-term expectations guidance and liquidity effects, long-term structural adjustments and development model transformations. However, there are still challenges in the interaction between the two, such as policy lag, diminishing effectiveness, insufficient coordination, and multiple goals. The Impact and Response of Modern Intelligent Shipping Development on Traditional Maritime Law System

Abstract: With the deep penetration of 5G, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technology in the shipping industry, intelligent shipping has moved from technical testing to large-scale implementation. The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has classified Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (MASS) into four levels, and countries such as Norway and Japan have completed regular trials of L3 level coastal ships. China's Yangtze River Maritime Intelligent Platform has identified 93000 safety hazards and avoided 17 collision accidents. However, the traditional maritime law system, which is based on "manual operation," has significant gaps in terms of subject identification, responsibility division, and regulatory rules. In 2022, the South Korean Golden Ray roll on/roll off ship capsized due to a defect in its intelligent navigation software, and in 2024, the CMA CGM Libra ship ran aground due to an error in its intelligent route planning. Both accidents resulted in disputes over liability identification due to the lack of clear legal regulations; Since the revision of China's Maritime Law in 2020, it has only mentioned "smart ships" in the "General Provisions" and has not covered the core provisions, lagging behind the non mandatory MASS rules process of IMO 2026. A Comprehensive Review of Supply Chain Resilience Research

Abstract: This article systematically describes supply chain resilience, mainly focusing on two core research areas: the resilience of supply chain logistics networks and the resilience capabilities of supply chain services. Regarding the resilience of logistics networks, scholars have achieved many results in network design optimization, disruption response mechanisms, and resilience assessment frameworks. These include considerations of initial disturbances in network design, probabilistic network graph modeling, load redistribution mechanisms, integration and application of the physical internet, and the use of models and algorithms such as mixed-integer nonlinear programming. In terms of the resilience capabilities of supply chain services, it explains that its core meaning is consistent with supply chain resilience, summarizes multi-dimensional evaluation systems (such as prediction, response, adaptation, recovery, and learning dimensions), key components (resistance and recovery capabilities), and improvement methods such as supply chain digitalization, intelligent logistics, and digital transformation, and explores the heterogeneous impacts of enterprise types, industrial chain positions, regional characteristics, and time lag effects. Abstract: Against the backdrop of the in-depth implementation of the national cultural digitization strategy, the protection and inheritance of urban red cultural resources face a critical challenge of transforming from "digital preservation" to "digital-intelligence activation." Currently, red resource-rich areas represented by Guangzhou generally exhibit a phenomenon of "data stacking" in their digital construction. This is characterized by an emphasis on physical digital scanning and archival listing, coupled with a lack of deep development based on semantic associations. This results in fractured narrative logic of the red gene and a loss of historical context. Introducing the Knowledge Graph theory from the perspective of digital humanities, this paper proposes a path for knowledge reconstruction ranging from the ontology layer and association layer to the application layer. By constructing a red culture domain ontology adapted to Guangzhou's specific characteristic as a "Source of the Revolution," this study achieves semantic interconnection and knowledge reasoning of multi-source heterogeneous data. Research on Strategies for Improving Public Satisfaction of Government Flood Emergency Information Service: An Example from Three Cities in Henan Province, China

Abstract: Government emergency information services constitute the core basis for the public to assess risks, take scientific precautions, and mitigate panic during an emergency. To enhance public satisfaction with government flood emergency information services, this study first constructs a set of indicators to evaluate public satisfaction. Subsequently, based on data obtained from questionnaire surveys, the level of government flood emergency information services for public satisfaction was assessed, and the impacts of factors influencing satisfaction were analyzed. Finally, strategies and recommendations were proposed to improve public satisfaction with government flood emergency information services. The results showed that (1) the overall public satisfaction level of government flood emergency information services Henan Province (Zhengzhou city, Xinxiang city, and Jiaozuo city) was at a higher level, and the respondents who had high, moderate, and low levels were 57.55%, 39.15% and 3.30%, respectively. (2) The public satisfaction score of government flood emergency information services, from highest to lowest, was emergency warning information service, response information service, and recovery information service. (3) From the perspective of influencing factors, the differences in the effects of age (46-60 years), education level, occupation (students, enterprise employees, others), and information characteristics (information reliability, availability, accessibility) on the public satisfaction were statistically significant. Abstract: Against the backdrop of the deepening reform of "Curriculum Ideology and Politics" in higher education, transforming value guidance from external discipline into students' internal identification is a key challenge to enhance the effectiveness of education. Business Etiquette courses, by virtue of their combination of external behavioral norms and internal value-bearing capacity, provide a unique field for exploring this transformation mechanism. Using Self-Determination Theory as the analytical framework, this paper aims to investigate how the integration of ideological and political elements into Business Etiquette courses can achieve a systematic transformation from relying on the external drive effects of "etiquette constraint" to stimulating the internal drive effects of "value identification." The article first clarifies the dialectical relationship between "external drive" and "internal drive" in ideological and political education, then analyzes the prevalent "external drive dependence" dilemma in current practices of integrating ideology and politics into Business Etiquette courses. Digital Narrative and Scene Reconstruction: Cultural Memory Reconstruction and International Communication of Rural Sports Event IP

Abstract: In the dual context of a mediatized society and global mobility, rural sports events are no longer confined to localized physical competition but have evolved into trans-border cultural symbols and carriers of collective memory. As a renowned "Qiaoxiang" (hometown of overseas Chinese) in China, Jiangmen hosts rural sports events that carry the unique ethnic identity and local attachment of overseas Chinese at home and abroad. However, under the traditional communication model, due to spatiotemporal obstruction and contextual disembedding, these events face the dilemma of memory rupture and diminishing communication efficacy. Based on the theory of cultural memory and media scene theory, this paper adopts a qualitative research paradigm to deeply explore how digital technology promotes the generation and international communication of Jiangmen rural sports event IP through the dual mechanisms of "narrative reconstruction" and "scene recreation." The study finds that digital narrative transforms grand clan history into micro-individual life experiences, realizing the shift of cultural memory from "solid storage" to "liquid flow"; meanwhile, scene recreation utilizes virtual reality and instant interaction technologies to eliminate physical distance, constructing a "digital homeland" with intersubjectivity. The synergy of the two dissolves the "cultural discount" in cross-cultural communication and triggers emotional resonance and value recognition among global overseas Chinese. Algorithmic Disenchantment and Value Reshaping: Ethical Risks and Governance Mechanisms of Embedding Generative AI into University Ideological and Political Education

Abstract: As Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI) becomes deeply embedded in the field of higher education, Ideological and Political Theory Courses (hereinafter referred to as "Civics Courses") in universities are undergoing a paradigmatic transformation from "digitization" to "intelligence." As a disruptive technology, Generative AI has greatly enhanced the precision and sense of gain in ideological and political education through automated content production, anthropomorphic emotional interaction, and personalized scenario construction. However, the strong intervention of technological logic has also triggered deep-seated ethical concerns: the algorithmic "black box" may obscure the light of truth, leading to "technological dependence" and "mental laziness" in cognition; data bias may implicitly dissolve the authority of mainstream ideology, triggering "algorithmic colonization" of values; and the alienation of human-machine relationships may lead to the dual withdrawal of teacher and student subjectivity, causing "emotional hollowing" in the educational process. Abstract: At the historical node where the "Digital China" strategy and the construction of a "Leading Sports Nation" intersect deeply, the digital economy, with its high innovation, strong permeability, and broad coverage, is becoming the core engine driving the high-quality development of sports consumption in China. The high-quality development of sports consumption is not only an important pivot for expanding domestic demand and building a new development pattern of dual circulation but also an inevitable requirement for meeting the people's growing needs for a better life. Abstract: With the rapid development of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AIGC) technologies and their deep embedding into the entire process of content production for Internet ideological and political education in universities, their powerful automated generation and multi-modal interaction capabilities have empowered educational innovation while simultaneously introducing deep ethical risks and security challenges. The inherent "algorithmic black box" attribute of Generative AI leads to the uninterpretability of content production and the concealment of responsible subjects. Meanwhile, potential biases in training data can easily trigger "value bias" in output content, manifesting as the implicit penetration of ideology, the breeding of historical nihilism, and the obscuration of mainstream values. Abstract: Currently, physical education (PE) in universities is at a critical transition period from standardization to personalization. The intervention of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies is not merely an overlay at the tool level but a systemic reconstruction of the PE ecosystem. Grounded in the era of "Digital-Intelligence Integration," this paper deeply analyzes the realistic dilemmas existing in traditional university PE, such as "data silos," "supply-demand mismatch," and "lagging evaluation." Based on Collaborative Governance Theory and Constructivist Learning Theory, this paper proposes constructing a "Technology-Pedagogy-Institution" trinity collaborative mechanism: at the technological level, breaking information barriers through multi-modal data fusion; at the pedagogical level, promoting the reshaping of new "teacher-machine collaborative" teaching relationships; and at the management level, establishing a cross-departmental resource integration and ethical regulation system. Abstract: Against the backdrop of advancing the cultural digitization strategy and the construction of "Comprehensive Ideological and Political Education," Red Finance resources, as historical witnesses to the transformation of the economic base during the revolutionary wars led by the Communist Party of China (CPC), possess unique educational value. However, traditional historical material displays and linear narratives struggle to effectively transcend spatio-temporal barriers, leading to a transformation rupture between "economic facts" and "value beliefs." Grounded in Historical Materialism, this paper proposes that Red Finance digital narrative is not merely a technological application but an innovative practice of value transmission from the economic base to the superstructure. This article deeply analyzes the generative logic of Red Finance digital narratives, demonstrating how they reconstruct a historical "sense of presence" through multimodal symbols, activating college students' embodied cognition and emotional resonance. Abstract: Driven by the dual momentum of the "Healthy China" strategy and the high-quality development of the sports industry, there is an increasingly urgent demand for composite talents who possess both athletic skills and modern business management wisdom. However, the current collaborative education between sports disciplines and economics & management disciplines in universities still faces the dual dilemmas of severe "disciplinary barriers" and "disconnection between industry and education," leading to a structural misalignment between the supply side of talent training and the demand side of the industry. Based on the theoretical perspective of industry-education integration, this paper deeply analyzes the realistic obstructions in the current interdisciplinary collaborative education of sports and economics & management in terms of institutional supply, curriculum system, faculty structure, and evaluation mechanisms. Abstract: In the context of the deep integration of digital technology iteration and cultural heritage protection, the cross-cultural communication of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) in Qiaoxiang (hometowns of overseas Chinese) is undergoing a paradigm shift from "digital storage" to "intelligent generation." As a significant source of Chinese overseas migration culture, Jiangmen Qiaoxiang's ICH resources carry unique diasporic memories and ethnic identities. However, facing the intergenerational gap of the new generation of overseas Chinese and the contextual barriers of heterogeneous cultures, traditional static display and one-way communication modes have become ineffective. Generative Artificial Intelligence (AIGC), with its powerful multimodal generation, deep semantic understanding, and human-computer interaction capabilities, provides ontological technical support for reconstructing the communication field of Qiaoxiang ICH. Abstract: Under the wave of deep integration between the digital economy and the real economy, digital finance, as an advanced form of financial technology (FinTech), is gradually becoming a key variable in reshaping industrial logic and promoting structural upgrading. As the head of the "Five Happiness Industries" and a new growth pole of the national economy, the high-quality development of the sports industry urgently needs to break the shackles of traditional financial repression and achieve efficient resource allocation and iterative upgrading of industrial forms through digital means. Based on industrial economics, information economics, and financial development theory, this paper constructs an analytical framework of "Technology-Capital-Industry" to deeply analyze the internal mechanism of digital finance driving the structural upgrading of the sports industry. It points out that digital finance empowers the sports industry to achieve a transition from factor-driven to innovation-driven by alleviating information asymmetry, reducing transaction costs, extending industrial chains, and accelerating technology spillovers.
